A Decatur, Tx., man was killed in a 1-vehicle accident early Sunday morning.
Texas State Police said 34-year-old Martin Perez from Decatur, Tx., was killed shortly after midnight overnight Saturday when the 2019 Dodge Charger he was driving on 455 near Decatur swerved off the road and hit a tree.
Driver was partially ejected from the vehicle
Trooper Zebadiah Siebeneck with the Texas Department of Public Safety said that Mr. Perez was partially ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said that Perez was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. Skies were clear and conditions were dry at the time of the accident, police said.
