Texas DPS increases reward for Clifford Nelson Locklin Jr. capture

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety has added Clifford Nelson Locklin Jr. to their Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list.

Texas DPS is offering a cash reward up to $7,500 for information leading to the capture of the 45-year-old, who is has an extensive criminal history of burglary, drugs, theft, evading arrest, and engaging in organized criminal activity.

Locklin, who has ties with the Aryan Circle gang, according to police, stands at 5-10 and weighs approximately 190 pounds. Locklin also has his name tattooed across his upper chest with the letters “AC” near the webbing of his lest hand along with other tattoos on his abdomen, back of head, back, both sides of neck, both arms, both shoulders and both legs.

Locklin has been wanted since Sept. 2010 when he absconded from his last known address in Bastrop. He also has ties to other areas of Central Texas, including Travis County.

To be eligible for the cash rewards, tipsters are required provide information to authorities using one of the three following methods:

  • Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
  • Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
  • Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).

All tips are anonymous regardless of submission, and the public asked to not to attempt to apprehend Locklin as he is considered armed and dangerous.
