R.L. Turner Lions Volleyball team raises hundreds at Addison car wash

The R.L.  Turner High School Lions volleyball team raised a little over $452 at a car wash Saturday in Addison, their head coach Nakia Belcher said.

The Lions held their car Saturday morning until 1 p.m. in the parking lot in front of Kroger in Addison, Texas. Camden Trending donated a pair of Texas Rangers tickets to raffle off to everyone to get their car washed by the girls and advertised it on the digital news sites’ face book page. The results were astonishing.

Thomas Wuest, a fan on Addison Today’s face book page said the car wash was great.

“They did a fabulous job on my car,” Mr. Wuest posted on Face book. “Thanks Y’all.”

The winner of the Texas Rangers tickets was Karen Goettlicher (pronounced Get-licker). The tickets are for the Rangers game against the Houston Astros June 9th.

R.L. Turner Lions has more car washes coming

Coach Belcher told Addison Today that the R.L. Turner Lions Volleyball team will host another Car Wash fundraiser in June and July. Addison today will let fans of the Lions and Addison today where and when the car washes will be.

If your non profit organization our youth team is having a fundraiser, Addison Trending would love to help promote it. Email your information to addisontoday@gmail.com or send Addison today a message on face book.
