Addison Police released sketch of man who may be connected to Bent Tree Murder

The Addison Police Department released a sketch of the man they believe could connected to the murder of an elderly woman in a Bent Tree apartment complex.

The Addison Police released the artist drawing of the person of interest on social media Monday. The post was made in an attempt to identify the man in this sketch, the post said.

Addison Police said that the man in the drawing  is believed to have information in connection with an investigation into the alleged homicide. Police said the alleged murder went down on July 1, 2019 at the Communities of Bent Tree Apartments. The Apartments are located in the 4800 block of Westgrove Drive.

The victim in the alleged homicide was 82-year-old Joan Mulcahy, who was confined to a wheelchair.

Addison Police have a description of the man who may be connected to the homicide

The person of interest  is described as a White or Hispanic male, about 5’8” to 6’, black or brown wavy hair, estimated to be in his early to mid 20′s, and last seen wearing a dark, long sleeve shirt and khaki pants.

Police are asking if anyone who recognizes this man or has any information regarding his whereabouts. If anyone does, they’re urged to call Addison Police Department’s Criminal Investigations during business hours at 972-450-7169. Messages can be left on the voice mail after hours.

At this point in the investigation, the Addison Police said that they do not believe there is any cause for concern for the general public.
